CAST

As word of the project spread, 80 actors responded to a low-key open casting call put out by Blue Bomber Entertainment just one month before the beginning of principal photography. From that talented group of area actors several principal parts and nearly all of the day parts were cast. By the end of the project about 150 local performers contributed to FUGITIVE HUNTER.

 Wayne Wallace (QUICK)
This up-and-coming actor, writer, and producer began acting professionally at the age of 16 with an outstanding debut with the Sacramento Theatre Company as "Jackie Robinson" in MR. RICKEY CALLS A MEETING, directed by Michael Haney. His debut feature film was RIGID METHODS, an independent feature film directed by Chris Thomas in 1998. Wayne wrote, produced, and starred in that film and has continued to expand his knowledge and skills in the worlds of professional film, television and theatre. He has also produced and directed commercials currently running, with NBC, PAX & WB affiliates in the San Francisco Bay Area. Wayne, most recently, co-produced and starred in FUGITIVE HUNTER, an action film directed by J. Alexander Jimenez. Also an accomplished martial artist and graduate of USC, Wayne Wallace is constantly developing professionally and looks to have a definite impact in the film industry.

Hugh McChord (TRAVIAN)
A striking character actor, Hugh may be best known for playing the role of Mr. Reich in BLOOD GUTS BULLETS & OCTANE, released by Lions Gate Films-the first film written and directed by the highly acclaimed director, Joe Carnahan. He also performed in MAD CITY with John Travolta and Dustin Huffman and played leading roles in other independent feature films, such as BLOODTHIRST: LEGEND OF THE CHUPACABRAS recently released by Spartan Home Entertainment and ELSA LETTERSEED. He has trained for many years with Ed Claudio and performed in a number of plays, earning an ELLY nomination for his portrayal of Mick in the play NIGHT BASEBALL.

Also a freelance videographer and director, Hugh has most recently worked as a staff photojournalist for the show Celebrity Justice. He continues to shoot and direct a nationally syndicated news feature, The Legal Edge with his business partner and has won two EMMY's for the show and for his videography.

Tarsha Vega (TRACY)
Born and raised in the Bronx, Tarsha has always gravitated towards music and dance, consistently including dance and drama in her academic curriculum. While working part-time for CBS Evening News, Tarsha modeled and worked as a commercial actress. In 1997 Tarsha turned toward music and completed Diamonds and Monsters, an album filled with powerful messages and passionate delivery.

In addition to working on her sophomore album, Tarsha has returned to acting and brings savvy professionalism and passion to her powerful portrayal of Tracy in FUGITIVE HUNTER, her feature film debut. Tarsha, a boundless talent, is an astonishing entertainer and an agent for change at the beginning of an exceptional career.

"I have a very special goal for myself," says Tarsha, "I want to uplift and unite the world. I'd like to see a positive shift in the world because of something I did."

R.F. Rodriguez (KENO)
Born and raised in Sacramento, California, R.F. is a versatile performer and producer. Strong community theater performances prepared him to work with equity professionals and establish him as a professional actor. His professional credits include DEATH OF A SALESMAN and THE CHICAGO CONSPIRACY. FUGITIVE HUNTER builds on earlier film in RIGID METHODS, produced by Wayne Wallace and directed by Chris Thomas. Inspired by that experience, he wrote, produced, and starred in BEYOND THE LAW, a short film also directed by Chris Thomas. FUGITIVE HUNTER marks Rodriguez's feature film debut as a principal performer and producer and represents his commitment to a career in the world of film. He holds two degrees from USC and is currently employed at Sony Pictures.
